Employees, tenants, and customers expect convenient access to charging stations, and demand will increase as electric vehicles grow in popularity.

Did you know…

  • One of every 20 vehicles sold in the US is now electric.

  • It’s projected that 7 million electric vehicles will be in use by 2025, more than 10 times the number on the road today.

  • 13 million charging stations will be needed in the United States by 2030.

EV Charging Infrastructure Services

RJS can provide the support you need for every commercial EV Charging application: Level 1, Level 2 & DC Fast Charging (Level 3).

EV charging stations require professional design and installation to operate safely, and they are subject to local codes like any other electrical system. RJS Engineering will design your site-specific EV charging station to meet local codes and regulations, ensuring safety and reliability.

Are you trying to figure out what charger is the right fit? Let us help.

We will provide you a site analysis to help you get an idea of what infrastructure can be supported and how it can be implemented at your location.

have you already purchased an Ev charger and ready for design?

We will design and prepare an energy efficient and error free EV charging station for installation. Our engineering support includes:

  • Load Calculations

  • Electrical Distribution System Design

  • Full set of construction documents needed for permit and installation

Curious about the types of charging stations?

Level 1

standard stand alone plug

Uses a standard 120V electric outlet, and requires a dedicated circuit. EV would likely need to charge overnight. Suitable for home use.

Level 2

upgraded outlet for ev and large appliance

Supplies 240V. Level 2 charging stations work approximately five times as fast as Level 1. Often used in homes, workplaces and public charging stations.

Level 3+

dc fast charging

Level 3 and Level 4 charging stations represent the high-end of EV charging. Direct Current-requires direct access to the power grid. Often installed along highways and for commercial use.

Who do we help? What brands do we work with?

We serve a variety of commercial industries, and we can design the EV charging infrastructure for any brand of charging station, including wireless induction EV charging.
